It's July and the heart of summer!  That means after the parades and the fireworks, we have some work to do.

Car Tune-Up

Vacation time is here and you dont want any car troubles while you are headed to your relaxation location.  Get the car into the shop, if you didn't last month.  The peace of mind works wonders while on vacation.

Pool Check Up

The pool is getting warm and getting lots of use. You want to make sure it is clean and algae free. Have the pool cleaner in to get everything ph-balanced and the water sparkling. The kids will thank you.

Pet Protection

Our best buddies need attention too! Plenty of fresh water both inside and outside your home, shaded areas for their outside time, heartworm medicine and a new flea collar to make summer more comfortable.

Clean Your Windows

The summer sun will make dirty windows look dirtier, so throw some vinegar and glass cleaner together and get some newspapers (no streaking) to wipe the windows. The combo should take off the grease and dirt to get those windows clean as a whistle.

Check Your Screens

Since you already working on the windows :-) look at all your screens. If there are any holes, repair or replace them and that also includes any screen doors you may have.  Nothing like leaving the windows open at night for fresh air and hearing that buzzing in your ear as you try to go to sleep. 

Fire Extinguisher

Manufacturers say extinguishers last 5 - 15 years, but they are so inexpensive, you should make sure you change them sooner, rather than later.  If you do buy one,  look for those with Class A,B,C ratings to handle most of the fires in a home. 

Plants

This is the time to transfer many of your plants to larger containers. That means buying the larger containers, getting fertilizers and soil and then, getting your hands dirty.
